Thrills & Gills at the Tennessee Aquarium
Family-friendly fun in October
CHATTANOOGA,
Tenn. (April 18, 2005) -- If you're lurking for some Halloween
fun the whole family will fancy, creep on over to the Tennessee
Aquarium and IMAX ® 3D Theater for some “Thrills &
Gills.”
During
the entire month of October, visitors will encounter a variety
of creepy critters and Halloween activities:

Discover
the truth about the Aquarium’s Fear Factor creatures
like sharks, piranha, barracuda, moray eels, alligators and
venomous snakes.

Register
to win a behind-the-scenes feeding tour of the Aquarium’s
most infamous creatures.

Experience
3D thrills and gills at the IMAX Theater, where you can feast
your eyes on a shark feeding frenzy in "Sharks 3D."

Gallery
presentations take place everyday. Aquarium staff members
give visitors an opportunity to get frighteningly familiar
with a variety of multi-legged creatures and mysterious animal
skeletons.

Come
in costume and celebrate Halloween with the Tennessee Aquarium's
creepy, crawly creatures and surreal seahorses on Oct. 28
during the after-hours “Phantom of the Aqua” Halloween
Party. During the spooky party, watch costumed divers feed
the hungry predators of the deep, trick or treat for goodies
in the galleries, win prizes in the hall of games and listen
to eerie tales in the Delta swamp. For more information call

The
Tennessee Aquarium inspires wonder and appreciation for the
natural world. Admission is $17.95 per adult and $9.50 per child,
ages 3-12. Each ticket purchased helps support Aquarium conservation
programs. The IMAX® 3D Theater is next door to the Aquarium.
Ticket prices are $7.95 per adult and $5.50 per child. Aquarium/IMAX
combo tickets are $21.95 for adults and $12.50 for children.

of the Tennessee River in Chattanooga, is a non-profit organization.
Open every day except Thanksgiving and Christmas, the Aquarium
